Pakistan Cricket Board Named five top class player as Iconic for the first edition of the PSL.
Each team has authority of selecting one player among the iconic players.
The names of the players are :


1) Shahid Afridi


2) Chris Gayle

 

3) Shane Watson


 

4) Kevin Peterson

 

5) Shoaib Malik


Priority for the Franchises for the selection of iconic player is as follow

1) Islamabad
2) Karachi
3) Peshawar
4) Quetta
5) Lahore

So the first choice of selection of iconic player is for Islamabad team.
